Trying to find a silver lining in each day.
Daily art projects.
I found this tutorial on Youtube by Handiworks.
Allergies have put a halt to my walks.
So, I have to embroider flowers instead of seeing them up close.
My mother always tried me to get interested in embroidery.
She created beautiful embroidery art.
I tried it a few times and never got into it.
Now, I find it to be a soothing way to pass the time.
I still have a lot to learn.
The back of the embroidered pieces my mother created were clean and perfect.
I am definitely not there…but I’ll keep working on it.
Hope you are doing well.
This little garden of flowers is gorgeous Chela. Keep stitching.
Sorry that you can’t go out. It’s frustrating! We are confined by law and it is hardest when it comes to dogwalk time of day
Lovely piece! Great ‘therapy’, too. I’d encourage you not to fret about the ‘back’ of the piece – because – we’re quilters afterall and that block and others like them can be part of the top of a quilt and thus sandwiched with batting and a fresh unstitched backing!
My sister just suggested that I just concentrate on the tops and then when this is all over, I will have an Art from the Pandemic quilt.
Yep, that sounds like a worthy plan!
You certainly are doing well crafting through quarantine!
There is nothing else I can do! Well, I guess I could organize my closet…nah!
