My sons who live in cities north of San Antonio are getting snow!
This is a first for my grandchildren.
In San Antonio, snow is falling in parts of town and is heading my way.
I am so excited, I just had to share.

Update: It’s snowing in SA!

  1. I recall how exciting it was to have snow in Texas. Today we have 8 inches of snow and live 3/4 mile up a mountain road that we maintain. Different type of excitement, though my grandsons think it’s wonderful, too 🙃

  2. Wow! It has been interesting watching the weather reports for the southern half of the USA while we sit up her in the north with no snow and very little forecast for us. Quite amazing! 🙂

  3. I remember moving from NY to Texas and laughing as we went swimming on Christmas (outside in our apartment pool) while our families were in plenty of snow. But after a while you miss the snow. I would like a couple weeks of snow and then be done each year (instead of months of snow that we get in Central Oregon, ha!) 🙂

    1. I’m sure the novelty of snow wears off when you have to shovel your front sidewalk to get out. But wearing sandals and shorts in December just doesn’t perk up the Christmas spirit. At least for now, the weather is cooler. I need to wear socks with my sandals!
